Jill Wollack
With a keen eye to the big picture, White Dog co-founder and president Jill Wollack leads the company both creatively and practicably. She is responsible for all aspects to the business and has a proven executive management track record of over 20 years. Originating from a fine arts background, Jill values balancing projects that require alternative perspectives with pragmatic planning.
Scott McIntire
Not one to pass on a challenge, Scott takes pride in finding solutions for even the most difficult of situations. His expertise were developed from working on his father’s wooden sailboats as a teenager, then as an employee of a paving company. The past 30 years he has worked as a carpenter and business co-owner.
Zeus, the White Dog
Our name comes from our beloved dog Zeus, whom we rescued years ago while visiting the Oregon Humane Society here in Portland. To the folks at the humane society, he was rambunctious, unruly and challenging… for us it was love at first sight. Ironically, White Dog’s new shop is right across the street from the very place where we met. Although Zeus is no longer with us, his magic and adventurous spirit lives on. And for each completed job, we make a contribution to the Oregon Humane Society in honor of the dog that gave us so much joy and an organization that continues to bring joy, compassion and love to so many.
